About Saint Louis
San Luis is located in the Tilarán mountain range and belongs to the district of Monteverde, in the province of Puntarenas. The population of San Luis is close to 450 people.
It is characterized by being a community surrounded by nature (next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest) where you can find clean rivers, green fields, farms with a diversity of crops, and highly diverse flora and fauna. Farmers who are engaged in traditional agricultural activities such as coffee and livestock, students who learn new opportunities for personal, family and community development, small entrepreneurs with productive project initiatives, community tourism, environmentally friendly development...
The San Luis Integral Development Association. It is the main means through which the community is organized to carry out different community development activities. As which? Ask about the construction of the Trail, the construction of the Aqueduct, community infrastructure, the San Luis Community Center… …there are many examples. That is San Luis, an organized community that with the joint effort of its neighbors and many friends has achieved what we are today and works to make tomorrow better.
